Hey guys,

Here is a modified 77 barlow with brass liners, nickel silver bolsters, and mammoth bone scales. This one has some extra work done to it. I reground the blade and it is now nice and thin, and razor sharp. I also adjusted the pattern geometry so that the bolster has a smooth transition to the kick when the blade is in the open position. Very slim handles around 1/4" at its thickest point. It just gets lost in your pocket. Beautiful action, no blade play, and the blade sits dead center.

Thanks for looking!

Beautiful barlow. I cannot afford right now, but I greatly admire your work. One quick question, I have pondered how beautiful a color case hardened bolster would look on a barlow but I am not sure if the bolsters are soldered on pin swedged on. I assume if soldered, then heat would alter the coloring. Thoughts?
Thanks
