S. loves the 'white handled' balis and whenever I see a knife with white handles I think of our very own Bounty Hunter. The label says it all! :D A pristine example of Benchmade Custom Shops finest work. The previous owner supplied the elephant tusk ivory and special ordered this knife in 1989. It is virtually new in the box and as nice a Scimitar as I have ever seen.........

I'm guessing you can get at least a full boxcar of Snipe's dried Mangos for that one Dudley. ;)

Gorgeous piece!

I'm going to hold it very close!:p

is that the guy with the ATS 34 blade option (pre modern era ats) :) I couldn't affod it :p

I should clear something up. Elephant ivory is not illegal to own, only to import. If you happen to have an elephant tusk laying around that someoen brought into the USA before the ban, then you can use it as you see fit. You cannot however, call someone in Africa and tell them to ship you some Elephant Ivory, that would be illegal. There is nothing illegal about that particular Balisong, other than maybe some state lawas on carry, but I don't think it's gonna be a carry piece for some reason.

thank you to BaliLover for clearing that up.. pre ban ivory and stag are a okay.. and unles syou import them in large quantities to catch someone's attention (USUALLY an informant who is jealous of your profits), then you are safe..

truth be told you'll prolly get in more trouble if you are searched and found a razor in your wallet rather than ivory chopsticks in your fanny pack..

hmmm.. ivory chopsticksss!!!!!
legend has it that Deng Xiao Peng had a few of them and they turned black when the food was poisoned :p

Ivory Chopsticks?! And here I'm eating my Chinese spare ribs and pork fried rice with a fork and my fingers. How uncooth.

Hmm, I believe the myth is that chopsticks made of silver will turn black when it comes in contact with Arsenic. Can any chemists out there comment on that?

Silver will turn black with exposure to almost anything acidic........
