would owners of said knives or a combo of them please recommend which is a better knife for edc. stories using them or other helpful facts will help alot and or pros&cons.

thank you for the help!

Honestly, all three would serve you very well. It really all boils down to which one you like the looks of the best and if you want handles or not.

ESEE 3 has micarta scales and a nice thin profile, mine is a slicing machine

Swamp Warden, SR101, extremely tough and holds a wonderful edge.

Scrapavore, I cant give you much info there other than its a Bussekin so its gotta be good, but on the looks end, I just dont like it as much as the other two.

ESEE 3 has a 3" blade + choil, depending on jurisdiction this can get you in trouble if a LEO decides to measure from end of scales to tip. (if you're in a region with 3" fixed carry restriction)
Have never handled a Swamp Warden.
Scrapivore comes without scales or a sheath, but a paracord wrap gives good grip and kydex pants start around $20.
Scrapivore has a thicker blade than the ESEE and the prybar on the end.
ESEE will be more comfortable in hand, because it doesn't have a prybar on the end to gouge your hand.
Scrapivore will be easier to conceal carry because it's smaller overall, if that's your intent.
All 3 choices will cut well, have good warranties & heat treat.

I have a 3 and a swamp warden. Honestly think the 3 is to big to edc, I carry my warden daily either neck or back pocket

I have an ESEE 3 and Vore LE with a Swamp Warden on the way.
The 3 is great for belt carry EDC but is not as easy to conceal as the others. Much to big for a necker. It's a GREAT user though and very easy to maintain the edge on a stone.
The Vore I LOVE but don't have a sheath yet. It is so thin that it slices VERY well and will be very easy to carry.
I can't speak for the Warden yet.
I have an ESEE Izula that I have been wearing "neck carry" for about two weeks and virtually forget about it. The Warden and Vore will be perfect for this or pocket carry.
I would add the Izula into your realm of possibilities for this size range.
Any of the three are are a great choice and you can't really go wrong.

I did not care for the useless tiny choil on the ESEE3. I have not handled the other knives you mentioned

ok,for the swamp warden is your sheath leather or kydex?

AzWelke Kydex sheath. I have a few of his products and love them. The same sheath I neck carry in I also pocket carry with, the way he rolled the lip of the sheath out for easy insertion also makes it catch the pocket upon draw so the knife comes out, but the sheath stays.

He's a forum member here and I highly recommend his products.

alright, thanks for the info. i think i'll save up and get both as soon as i can

Gotta go with the SwampWarden, slightly bigger than the Scrapivore and IMO a little easier on the eye and a better steel than the ESEE 3 !

I have a ESEE3 and love it ,it is just to big and heavy to carry daily. I had a Swampwarden ,I wanted to love it but the handle didn`t grow on me as much as I wished it would I just couldn`t get it to fit my hand so I sold it. I often EDC my Izula with the scales ,I once had two and I wish I still did. I want to try out a Scrapivore I think it will give my Izula a run for its money. Also the Izula II looks like a sweet deal for larger hands.

I like the Swamp Warden or the Scrapivore because of the SR 101:thumbup:

The Rodent Solution may be your answer:), it is also SR 101:thumbup:

Why is the esee3 in this throw down and not the Izula or the IzulaII?

If your looking for smaller knives I'd look at the Izulas. I have to say this, the scrapivore is nice and all, BUT the Izula is 100% more comfortable in hand. I can also see myself slipping my index finger into the blade of my scrapivore. The scrapivore is a nice knife, but it needs some tweaks. I received my izula and scrapivore within a day of each other so it's not favoritism, Just my observations.

The Izula 2 is an amazing little knife, I wasn't sure about it before I got it, but since then its one of my favorites. The longer handle sold me 100% over the original.

The problem with Bussekin (Swamprat and Scrapyard) is you can't buy just one.

At least with ESEE there aren't too many models and not many new things coming out. Sure the bussekin is arguably superior, but can you afford to devote your income to getting the a never ending stream of amazing must-have knives? Ask yourself.
