Estwing or clone handle repair? with pics

My wife and daughter went to some second hand store today and got me this estwing or estwing clone hatchet.....does anyone know where I can find replacement leather disks or have any good ideas for a handle....

12 inch model.....it will get refinished as a camp axe.....

Thank you also....but I think for the ax I will stick with the leather...but I will keep this stuff in mind for other projects....
