i thought about a stamp, but i just got done reading bob loveless's book where he says that stamping a blade caused stress risers. saw this on the auctions, and it said that they had used or reconditioned kits for about a 1/3 the price of new, so i got one. when it arrived, everything is BRAND NEW in the original boxes...what a deal....

I have the same set-up . Works great, I did have stencils made. No complaints about the etcher. You can order new pads from their web site. Yours look good.

i think i will change the type of font when i make my next one, but overall pretty happy with the results..

i didn't think it was too bad for my first try at it. can only get better, right? need to play a little more with the MS word, and come up with something a little more fancy for the next one...
