Etch O Matic sets?

Anyone ever used that 110 volt Etch-O-Matic set from Sheffields? I'm trying to get a makers mark going, but the $110 for the Personalizer sets is going to empty my wallet out, so I'm thinking about the cheaper Etch-O-Matic.

Chang, some have OK luck with those, some don't.
I have a knifmaker friend, in TN. He makes an etching machine second to none, that will do anything you want, for,I believe, $100.00. If you are interested, let me know, and I will give you contact info.
