I just bought an Etch-o-matic
electrochemical etching machine. The only problem is the I suck at drawing and can't figure out a way to get my logo ( which I have done up nicely on the computer )on to the stencil.
Should I just have a stencil professionally made? Or is there a way I can do it my self?

go to http://www.markingmethods.com/ they will charge you for the artwork tranfer the first time and after that you can get a sheet of about 6 logos on it for around $30/ make sure to specify that you want the green screens..they last way longer than the orange ones...at least around 30 knives per logo...maybe more if you clean them well... i always throw them away at the first hint of fuzzyness.

Depending on the detail in your design, it is possible to do the stencils with a 24 pin printer (which you can get at any pawn shop for about $5 now). I've been doing it for a year now but I am switching to a professionally done, long life stencil for improved quality.

Thanks for the reply's ,

I think I'm going to order the professionally done stencils. It does cost a little bit but I think it will be worth it.
In the mean time I'm going to play around with the blank stencils it came with just to get used to the machine.
