I have an etch-o-matic and it quit working, any clues besides it's a piece of junk?

Both alligator clips tend to accumulate a coat of fine rust between uses, which severely affects etching. I usually hit them with some fine wet-or-dry paper before use. Also, the screen and pad need to be replaced now and then. Replacements are available from Sheffield Supply.

Brett hit it right on the money. Atleast I have that same problem every now and then. I always getting a crisper etch with clean connections.
