The etch reminds me on what Kiku Matsuda is doing with his blades. Artistic and rustic at the same time. The price is good, could be a little lower to jump into the BF.com market. I would like to see this in different handle scales. Osage just doesn't do it for me. Good belly to the blade, convex edge???

Thanks for the feedback, yes to convex edge. I'll have to check out Matsuda.

I honestly really like the whole package. The blade shape looks good, the etching is appealing and the shath is nicely tooled and sewn. If I were critiquing (which is not exactly what you asked for) I would say that the grind could use a little more definition, and I am also personally not a fan of the osage, but that's just my preference on any knife, lots of others do... Not to be argumentative, but I think the knife is deserving of the price tag (I am a maker and know how much time you have in it) I would keep it as is as far as price. It's worth every penny. Trouble is people herer are used to seeing quality knives sold at near bargain pricing....:(If it doesn't sell here, which it should, take it somewhere else it'll get snatched up...
Good luck

Thanks, instead of a acid I use a strong base to etch. Have not heard of a mustard etch.
Its interesting how certain woods tweak certain people. Tried some curly mogombi on a handle (bright yellow too) lately and it was snatched right up.

Appreciate the feedback, critiques and conformation. It's true, alot of time goes into a good knife and we sure are not getting rich selling them. Good thing it's just a matter of time until the right person has a fancy for that particular tool.

I like the shape of the blade and handle. Looks like it would be a good EDC for woodswalking and or hunting. I think it would look nicer with a plain blade.

absolutely gorgeous. I love the osage, it looks really good alongside the etched steel. and I'd like to see a shot of the liners if we could. I'd snap it up in a second if I wasn't so broke right now. :( keep up the good work!

I can't stop looking at this knife! Dang it...tax man cometh, so I have myself on a diet of knives...
