I haven't been able to get into the shop much lately, due to having foot surgery and other health reasons. I got to keep busy doing something, so I decided
to build an etcher. I have built several of these over the years using the pattern on Chris Crawford web site. These etchers work very well. In the pic you will see
the cotton on the clip, this is the way I use mine, I have used it this way and used the same etcher since the first knife I put my name on, and as an etchant
I have always used distilled water with a little salt.
You can buy a pad and some etchant, and that works better for others, but for the price I have fixed it like I do mine.
If you have any questions I will try to answer, or you can check it out on Chris web site
God bless
I am asking $120...... That is shipped and insured
PM me for payment info if interested
