I just got my etcher from Ron Claiborne, and stencils from Ernie Grospitch, and I just have a quick question. A good percentage of my knives are cold blued, is there anything I need to do special when etching my logo on 'em? Do I just use 'em like normal, or etch prior to blueing? What's worked for you? Thanks for the help, I don't want to ruin a perfectly good stencil doing something dumb:p

Before you Blue them is best. The etcher will go trought the bluing but you have to clean it up with sand paper when your done so I just do it before so the blueing does not get screwed up. And if you do it right it comes out alot darker when blued.
