I want to make a lightbox so I can make my own stencils. I already have the UV sensitive rubber sheets. I know I need to make a box, cut a hole/strip, get two sheets of glass and then need a UV bulb. I've seen how-to's on making the boxes, but not on what watt bulb should be used. Anyone know or have one made?

Thanks,
John

UVB Lights are used in reptile care. Go to your local pet store and try one out.

i am researching this now also. it looks like a 15w uv bulb is a good start... 2, 15w uv bulbs may give more even light.

Being able to make custom stencils quickly is something I've been pondering for some time. Considering I was recently looking at a "developer" that costs $200+ and appears to be exactly what the OP is talking about (a box with a UV bulb in it )... I'm subscribing to this thread.

I bought a kit a couple weeks ago. I'll look at the bulb wattage and post it later today.
