Ethan's April Challenge- Usin' the Noodle......

I wonder how receptive he'd be to us, a chosen few doing contests in his name? Maybe pick 15 folks to come up with 15 contests, he'd approve them of course and maybe he or Kabar would send out the prizes. We would judge or own contests, get a moderator to do it, maybe get a knife celeb of sorts to judge it. I say 15 ideas because we'd need alternates in case somebody couldn't fullfill their responsibility within their assigned month. I posted this here because of the high likelihood of E seeing it.
 
If I were a Beckerhead when this contest was up, I would have spanked you all ;) Just sayin.
 
You know this contest was open to everyone?
Fal'er: That sounds pretty cool. I know exactly what I would do for a contest.
 
Out of random curiosity, what were you thinking of making? I was originally going to go with some sort of weighted trebuchet dealy-o but had no time to do so.
 
I used to carve totem poles as a kid in Alaska....or maybe an exact replica of bk2 in wood...I also ended up making a flint knife for my neighbors kid from a 2x4 some para cord and my BK2...just randomly one night. There was a lot of beer involved, and I soon realized that I had over commited, but it got done. So something like that. I would have tried at least 3 different things.
 
There was a multi page thread early this year I started about contest ideas or the future of ethan's challenges, something like that. I think E is in Argentina now for a month, I try calling him on it next month and see what he says.
It might be be time to recycle some of the older contests because the faces have almost completely changed on the folks who post this subforum.
