Ethan's Fall Gathering!!! Official Signup

No worries Moose. I figure it will all sort itself out when we get there. If it is needed for taxi service then that is fine too. I was going to ask, you had said last time there was a lake nearby with some decent fishing, is there any chance we might be able to head out that way at some point if'n you ain't got us too busy?
 
I would say that some folks will be meeting there at the Hardee's as that is where most people meet as they can always find a Hardee's and they have a big parking lot there.

I will want to take my Truck up there as that is where I always sleep ~~~ I have a half sheel on the back and as it is very hard to sleep in my Shelby Cobra cause I can't curl up very good anymore and besides that my Rods and Reels are always in the Truck just in case I see water.!*

Yeah, the lakes you pass getting to Ethan's place, D, is where I usually go.

Jack, not sure if trucks will be allowed up there, we will have to see who shows up, and where everyone is staying. We have plenty of room, at the top, not sure about vehicles though.

I'm not sure if E will want full size vehicles up there. If its dry, hell yeah, we've done that before, but if the soil is loose, no way. Too dangerous, and it tears up the roads. That's what I meant.

I'll let you know when it gets closer. We can get everyone and everything to the ridgetop, regardless of whether cars go up, so, rest assured.

E gunna have that big water buffalo up there again? If so, we might want to stash it a little closer to the main area instead of off in the distance.

I didn't even know that Ethan had a regular gathering, I know he's got a following... The Jeep sounds helpful. Ethan graciously helped keep my emasculating minivan from sliding off the "hill" at PWYP last spring. My family wouldn't have been too thrilled about walking back home afterward.

How many people usually come to Ethan's gathering? It sounds fun and I already know Ethan is a fantastic guy!
 
Moose - put me on the list, just had an order for a pair of machete sheaths on another forum and that'll cover 1/3 of my fuel.

This will be the second actual Gathering at Ethan's. I would say we are looking at around twenty to thirty people or so. Space isn't unlimited, but should be able to accommodate a few more I would think. There is booze and guns and knives and just all around good times. It may not be the most family friendly of settings though, so keep that in mind. We get a bit rowdy in the, well, pretty much the whole time. :D

If you can you should try to make it down there Dominar Rygel. We have a fair bit of geekiness attending.
 
Hey Derek......

The water buffalo has been sequestered by my lovely wife for her tree house......I have a couple of water drums that will be much closer to the "main" camp........Not enough to fill your solar powered, super fragalicious campers hot tub but, plenty for what we will really need......

Buy a Becker knife (he said if I bought one I could attend)
Bought a BK2. I am really impressed with this knife (I think I got the better deal in this. Now he has to deal with me for the weekend and I have a great knife.).... Check
Start packing... working.

You have no idea how badly I want to be there, but work has gone crazy and I just cant get away.

I'm leaving out early tomorrow morning to get up there and get some stuff done, so, I'll be off the forums until I get some bandwidth. Ethan has some and my cell works on the ridge, so, I should have some capabilities.

If you comin', cya'll there. If your not, I'll be back on Sunday. Esav's in charge until then, as the Great Biscuit and Bladite are coming also.
