Ethan's Gathering May 16,17,18 Signup

Is there a central US gathering? I'm not driving 20 hours to California or 21 hours to Tennesse.

One in Wyoming or the Colorado mountains would be awesome!

This year we ask that you pack light enough to not have to drive your vehicle up the hill, please.

I can't say until I get a firm date. That time of year is one of the busiest for me.

Late April? I'm probably out.
First weekend of May? I'm probably out.
After that first weekend, I'm in like Flint.
 
Depending on when it is and if I get my act together, there might be a new THK prototype or two to play with...

I will try to make this one. I passed on the last time and Ethan pretty much convinced me that I should come and hang. I certainly can't complain that it's too far.... like a 2 hr drive.

If you can make it there and home in a single day, you'd be a durn fool not to stop in and at least say "howdy". It's a pretty excellent way to spend a few hours driving through some of the most beautiful country on the planet and hang out with some folks that just wanna relax and sit around a campfire and play with/talk about knives. :)

What else ya gonna do, sit around and watch other people golf or fish on TV? :D

So I've been following the Becker gatherings for years and always enjoy hearing the stories and seeing the pics... I hope some day to make one and shake hands with Ethan. Great tools that were designed by a great man that brought together a lot of great people... can't wait to hear stories from this one. Don't forget to take lots of pictures guys!
 
Unfortunately I don't think my parents would be willing to drive me from Oklahoma:(
But hopefully I'll be able to make next year!

OTOH, next time the BCUSA group is doing a hike/camp down by Independence, if you can convince your folks to come along, you'd be more than welcome.

About the only thing of importance that could cause me not to come are work schedules which are rather unpredictable. Hard to plan ahead for much of anything. Heading to Memphis on Saturday. I'll take a becker or two with me to fondle while I'm driving.

I've stopped by Bentons a couple times since Christmas, so you know it is not really so far off my beaten path.
