Some of you folks will remember this, I had a good kit with me, but i did some tweaking after this.

Couldn't touch that knife for a few days afterward. I had trap triggers to make, so it didn't last long.

I changed my kit a lot after I cut myself too. I might accept this challenge, still on the fence about it.

I wanted to so something different, but when E told me at lunch he wanted a FAK challenge, I instantly knew why. Alot of folks have some new knives this spring/summer, gonna be some cuts and some stabs.

A good FAK is something that we all can do with. 'Specially when the season is on, sweat is creeping into that grip, and we will all be a little more tired and dehydrated. Good call on the contest E.

Great timing, as I'll lurk 'n lurn. Last weekend was the second camping trip ever that I've carried a rudimentary FAK and the first time I used one to treat an injury.

I can't afford the supplies for a full-on vehicle kit at the moment, let alone a vehicle to put it in :D I'll leave this one entirely to you guys. Have fun while I mourn over my failure at the april contest.

This is going to be easy! Im going to wait a few weeks to post to critique the overall product. I do carry a PFAK EVERYDAY and I use it on myself but mainly others. I dont have a pack kit Just use my PFAK and other things I carry on me. Improvise adapted and overcome! The truck kit is just MY WHOLE GLOVE BOX LOL I can toss it in a small bag and put it behind the seat. I would love to win a TACTOOL cause I would never buy one lol

Buying your stuff isn't really necessary, that's what this challenge is about. Hell, if I wanted to, I could go drop $800 for a STOMP mobile hospital. Not interested, I'm not a Dr. or a Surgeon. Though I have been taught to do a few invasive techniques.

Anyway, you can make a FAK outta stuff you got in your house, cloth for bandages, duct tape (best FAK shit ever. period.) Medicines procured from vegatables, and other household goods.

There was medical and FAKs long before Johnson and Johnson started putting sealed cases in WallyHell. Just sayin'.

My kits aren't that expensive, I put together stuff I actually use and know how to use. No suture sets or befibrillators. Stuff like neosporin, medical tape, gauze, and lighters.

Of course it doesn't mean the kits are any good or going to win either, but it isn't very expensive.

jeeze, numberthree... way to set the friggin bar! Lol, that guy must be a medic. If we go on a hiking trip, or zombies attack, one way or another I will have him in my squad!

I'd like to participate but won't post that in the thread until I actually am ready.. I feel like a bump on the log around here lately as I haven't really participated in much..

I bought a bag on clearance close to a year ago for this very thing in mind.. maybe, just maybe this what it will take for me to actually fill this thing... its just sat, good thing I only paid $2 for it.. :D

Commit to the contest now, Then you'll have some skin in the game so to speak cause you know you'll feel like a douche bag if you say your gonna do it and then don't. Like me and my failure to complete the shelter contest, douchetastic.

Yeah, I'm a medic.... sadly it becomes a curse; you feel like you have to carry everything, or you're letting everyone down! :D

You should see my really big kit....

One of my medical mentors carries a triangular bandage on his outings...that's it. He considers it the ultimate medical multitool.... and he's right.

I agree, I have 3-4 in mine. I'm just waiting for my wife to send it so I can participate!

That's really cool. As a medic, is there any one item, like a triangular bandage, or anything from your experience, that you'd recommend everyone carrying?

Hi I'm Rob and I'm a douchaholic :D

I've commited to a couple already and never followed through, so rather then look like some lame poser I'll get my act together then post in the contest thread, otherwise it'll be off to another douchanonymous meeting for me:D
