Ethan's KA-BAR Video

I hope there are more of these videos sharing Ethan's knowledge.

I notice that in the video he mentions handle design comfort.

I've always wondered how Etan came up with the Becker handle design as it is a standout. The handle design is not only comfortable but deceptively secure. The design allows the handles to be smooth and rounded but when you grip them you are locked in, no need for texture.

I was thinking about this today! And I agree 100% in terms of the handle shape – calling it perfect would not be hyperbolic.

I assume the shape is the result of extensive real-world use as well as trial-and-error (they are often intertwined).

Perhaps Ethan can chime in!

That would be interesting to hear :thumbsup:. He's probably to busy figuring out what would be the best length to stretch the 2 too :p .... I wish hint hint !

I think it's awesome that Ethan has a pair of nunchakus hanging on the wall, haha. I have a few of those myself. ;)
