We had some very bad storms roll through Friday night, and one of the most affected areas, was Tellico Plains, of which, Ethan lives at the eastern end of. It was bad.

SF Sam, myself and others have been trying to get ahold of him since Friday, well, this morning I finally got ahold of him, and everything is OK. Not even any trees down around his place, which is quite unusual

Just wanted to let ya'll know. Its been an interesting weekend here in East Tenn. Violent, torrential storms have pounded us since Friday night, causing flooding, and damage. Seems we are on the mend, with snow coming in tonight. WTF!?!?!

So, just droppin' some intel on ya.

Moose

glad to hear y'all are OK, was wondering.

Keep Sharp

I got a little wind and alot of rain where I'm at, the rough stuff went to the north and south of us here, at Casa De Moose. My girls got scared and went to the storm shelter, me and wife were sitting on the porch enjoying the show. I had my phone's weather app up and was watching dopler so, I could see when the bad cells were coming our way, on went as close as 1.5 miles away, which we could literally see in the sky, kind a eerie, really. My feet got wet, but my beer stayed cold, so, all in all, pretty good show.

they hit in GA too, a friend of mine lives down there, had a 'Nady hit less the 1/2 mile from her house.

its that time of year again here in tornado alley I reckon

Um, the thing is, its not. Or at least here. Those were deep summer storms. We're still in winter mode here. Wierd weather, I tells ya.

Good to hear. Must've been a scary few days for those of you closest to him.

Glad he is ok. Weather is getting screwier every season pretty much everywhere. Planets gonna shake us off like a bad case of fleas soon.

Good to hear and thanks Moose!

My prayers go out to those who have suffered.

You guys all keep safe down there. Been seeing the storms on the news, just brutal.

Thanks for the update. Glad to hear all is well.

One thing I miss about living in the south are the great lightning shows. Where I live in CA, we're lucky to get sheet lightning.

Glad to hear yall are ok, but Jeebuss you freaked me out. The phonecalls my parents got when I was badly injured always started with the exact same words.
Mr/Ms Brown Your son is ok.... but he was struck in the head with an axe during a shelter building class and is in the hospital.....

Really Glad You and E and everyone out that way are good.

glad to hear most if not all your Southernerer types is goodly

got a quick cell from Ethan, apparently their phone line was blasted, but everything else is good.

will have to call him in a little more bit

Who was it that said tornados veer away in the path of a BK9...seems like that was the case!

I remember doing exactly the same thing (sans wife) back when I was living in East Texas. Actually watched funnel clouds forming then going up again. Glad to here y'all are OK. Weather is insane down here as well with crazy flooding all over the place but we don't do tornadoes thank goodness.
