Jeez. It's always the same with this guy. I've had my outfits picked out for weeks. One hint: rhinestones.

Is there anything special we need to do to sign up other than responding to this post? (already done) How do we know how to get to Mr. Beckers place? Is there a master list of all that are attending? I vaguely remember reading that if we are not already, we can be Beckerized at the gathering as opposed to doing it online; is that correct? (I hit the qualification criteria a while ago, I’m just computer lazy) (Beckerized sounds a little dirty) Sorry for the question blast. I got the time off work and thought that when school was over I would have time to participate on the forum more but as it goes I have no reason to be in front of a computer so I may have missed these answers if they were asked elsewhere. Gotta go, I’m being assaulted by a toddler dressed like Thor. Toy or no toy, that hammer hurts when it hits the kidney.

Well, I'll give you Ethan's address about a week before the Gathering date, which is 16 days from now. SO, expect a post with the location to where you will be going, in about 9 days.

Once you get the address, there are several methods to get your directions, either Mapquest, GPS, or Smartphone is what I would recommend.

When you see this,

Then, you'll have to pack, unload your gear, and take a trip up the hill, to here,

Also, is there a list of stuff to bring? Like supply-wise..food, utensils, drinks, paper towels...stuff like that. Or is there gonna be a hat passed to help pay for supplies? I have no idea what goes on LOL

We will provide a meal on Friday, hotdogs, and a meal on Saturday, which will be swine, with all the fixin's. I plan on enlisting the aid of Mrs. Trade, aka Kitchen Help to assist with the fixin's, and probably Derek and Pointy as well.

Other than that, make sure you have enough food for you and yours, pack for a 3 day camping trip. We will shuttle gear and people up to the hill top, we have a bathroom up there, but no shower, I suggest if you can't go a few days without a shower, bring some "shower wipes" to clean up with.

The Trade's and Derek/Pointy usually bring enough food to feed Cox's Infantry, but, bring enough for you, and if you want to share with others, fine by me.

Like I said, think of it like a 3 day camping trip. Please be mindful, that we will have to shuttle up gear and stuffs, so, don't bring anything huge.

Is there a store or something close by that we can stop at on the way in? Instead of having to pack the food in from St. Louis (or wherever is our current locale)

There is an end of the world store nearby. They sell everything from corn dogs to generators.
This year, I think I'm going to pick up a generator and a window AC unit so I can sleep cool at night.

You flockers better have earplugs. Not because of the generator though. Moose snores and farts in his sleep.
 
There is a place about 15-20 minutes away from Ethans that has everything. The place is half grocery store, half hardware store, half bait and tackle shop, and half gas station. Allegedly it has some of the best beef butchers in the country according to Ethan. This magical place is known only as "Sloan's" and will be where I am going to pick up most stuff when I head down there. I won't be bringing enough food to feed an army this time since we will be bringing a crap ton of Pointy's homebrew beers. Priorities people! Also I am shooting for less food prep time this go around so as to have more time to screw off with you louts.
 
You see this place and you will agree with me 110%, it's that kind of place.
