this may not be the spot to post this, so mods can move it if needed.

This is a good time each year.
Tons of knives, interesting displays and even demonstrations by pros.
I have was lucky enough to meet Wayne Goddard there one time and that was a big deal to me, as an aspiring knife maker. I talked to him for about 20 minutes.
Sal Glesser from Spyderco is often there. Meeting him was cool to.

Wayne Goddard was a great man and very good friend of mine. I sure miss him. Parkinson's has claimed him. Every year before the OKCA Show he would email me to let me know he had a pile of material for me to pick up at his place before I left for home. Many of the knives I made had something that at one time or another had belonged to Wayne, be it saw steel or old leaf springs, wrought iron, and even sambar stag.

Wasn't planning on doing the show but decided to get a table last month. I'll be at T-09. Salem, what table do you have?

I'll be at table R06. Stop by and say hi. I'll have some desert ironwood, sambar stag and mammoth ivory on the table in addition to my knives.

i wonder if they have any plans to release a table holder list ??
kinda crazy to have a show and not know who is going to be there ??

i just think it is kind of odd that they put on this show ,and you have zero idea who is holding tables there ?? i would think If i wanted to go there to say buy a knife i would really want to know If my favorite maker was going to be there??
if i remember correctly this has been a problem with each of their shows (No Info/Advertising)
like they just think people will fly cross country to attend and Maybe luck out and find whoever the maker is there!!
Yea old friend i know you lost your mind many a year ago (LOL)
