Eugene Shadley Stockman Jack

Forgot to mention, Vince, that the pattern appears to be a cross between a swell center regular jack and a premium jack.

Ahh,A hybrid...

Ahh,A hybrid...

...with previously sneezed racoon residue lint...just exactly what have you gotten' hold of there Vince?

Ah heck...jus' put in your pocket and fuggetabouddit!

Mr. Shadley's work is always very fine in my humble opinion.

WOW! That is a beautiful knife. When I saw it I thought to myself, a timeless classic. Then I said "damn, I want one" :O)

So Vince is this a Keeper or are you Safekeeping this one for the time being??;)

Very nice score. This is sure a finely crafted piece.

Stunning. I really enjoy the work of all the top shelf guys and Gene can do a fit and finish of the backs springs and liners like no other.

Enjoy Vince!

Nice knife, Vince. From the pic it looks like he used some of the old Utica bone on that one.

Elliot,
I think you are correct,I saw a Shadley on one of the internet dealers websites, with the same jig pattern, and he had it listed as Utica bone.I am not certain, but it seems this way.

Peregrin, yes,I believe the Utica jig bone would be from the Utica Knife Co.
This Stockman Jack is 3-5/8" closed,
-Thanks for all your comments & inquiries, and I do believe I will carry and use (not abuse, lol) it & enjoy it.
-Vince
