The comparison pic cleared it up for me. Tony is definitely generous for lending out his patterns. Rick makes some beautiful knives. Very nice choice of scales. It gives the Eureka jack a vintage feel.

generous is a understatement. He has shipped me many patterns and i have yet to pay one cent for shipping. He contributes to new makers every day w/ free advice.
 
Congrats Elliott and Rick. Some really nice elements to this knife that make it a winner. Love the Ivory Micarta and the overall shaping of the scales. :thumbup:
 
The colour and grain on that micarta is outstanding especially with the bolsterless pattern. Gives it an Old School look immediately, fine job!

I just showed my wife your pictures and told her thats what I want for Christmas :D She just laughed at me..:(

I've gone back a few times to look at the knife again, and each time I look at it, I like it even more :thumbup:

Very nice looking knife & Rick's work, as usual, is excellent. I only have one of his, a Back Pocket Shadow (Which I think is also Mr. Bose's pattern), but I really like the look that Wharncliffe & how nice it looks closed, too. Most Wharnies seem to "stick" out, when closed.

Very nice.
 
That is one sweet knife Blues. I should be up in a couple of months on Ricks's list for a knife. I wanted the Dog Leg Jack and seeing that Wharncliffe blade would love one like that. Rick makes a great folder as i have three of his so far. Thanks for sharing.
