Hi everyone ,thought I'd show my latest knife even before i'm finished with it, needs back strap cleaned up to 400 grit and then sharpened and that's it . CPM 154 steel -Cryo quenched and 60 -61 final hardness after tempering. Pearl does not give ,so you cannot make shield be Slightly hammered down into the opening. So I will not do shields anymore on Pearl which most makers seem to stay away from also, it seems to never be as tight a fit and clean a fit as you want and detracts from the beauty of the pearl in general. Thanks for watching an comment if you like . Cheers Blade Freinds----------Joe

Joe, that is a fine looker, pearl adds a nice gentlemanā€˜s touch.šŸ˜‰šŸ˜„

Thanks Woody, and yes it does add a spark of gentlemen quality to the knife. One thing is to not let it snap open or shut a lot because pearl does have the ability to crack on the center pin, even though I try to get around that as much as possible from Tony Bose showing me how to ream the pin holes to try an keep that from happening. P lus don't have the opening an closing to firm , just a nice 3 or so but with great snap ,but not a nail buster and you will have great knife.

That is a very nice knife. Design, fit and finish, and material selection. Anyone would be very happy to own this. Nice work.

Yes BP I wish I could have kept it myself ,but soon as i would carry it , I would drop it with in a weeks time . So this type of knife you have to be careful when taking out of your pocket an just be super careful of handing it to some one ,which i did once and they dropped it Right Then on the cement porch. Thanks for the good words.
