European C62 variant availability...

Someone posted a picture of a C62 variant with an aluminum slotted handle a little while back that was supposed to be sold by Boker for their European market. I contacted Boker USA about getting one, and they told me to contact your company! Is there any way for us to buy that awesome little knife, because I've got money in hand for one of those!
 
Savman - At this time I do not believe they are available, except through Boker in Germany. I heard that they might in the future be available through a US Distributor, but cannot confirm. Ironstone has a similar model as an eclusive, but without the slots in the scales. Spyderco has the G-10 version. Sorry.

Bummer, Sal! I was afraid you'd say that! I've seen Ironstone's version of the same, minus the slots. The slots add a little extra flair to the knife though, I'll probably wait for the slotted one. I've already added the G10 version to my collection and I love it! Thanks!
 
Savman, I live in Europe (Sweden). Can I be of any assistance? Anything you want me to check?

I emailed Ironstone and they called me today. Unfortunately, I was out, but I'll call them tomorrow. They mentioned something about having a knife for me...I wonder what that is? I'm totally impressed that you did that and I can hardly find the correct words. I'll just say "THANK YOU" for now! After I speak with them, I'll let you know when I get it. I appreciate your generousity!

I figured that I would check with our distributors on this matter. From what I understand, Blue Ridge Knives will be bringing these to the U.S. from Germany. You can call them to see if they are in yet.

Thanks for the heads up about BRK, as I'll have to talk with them. Sal was nice enough to get me one already, but I'm sure that once my friends see it, they'll want one, too! So, maybe BRK will be the source for that model.

You're a great guy! I got my slotted-handled C62 from Ironstone today! I've been rubbin' that beautiful finish so much, I might wear it out! It's a really nice little pocket workhorse, but it's also very "custom" looking in the slotted version. Thanks again, Sal!
