Jerome Hovaere Torpen Hyperion Integral One Off - $sold
This lovely Torpen knife is a one off, originating from Jerome’s Hyperion model and I am the second owner. Unlike his Hyperion which is a beefy knife, this integral is ultralight and thin, making it a perfect dress carry. I was told the blade is 3V hardened to 62HRc, which doesn’t mean much to me . The blade is a bit off center but is not touching and actually maintains the same gap all the way down the side. The knife is not even broken in yet. Orange peel looks really nice, as do the well lined up carbon scales (no gaps). The dimensions are approximately 75mm cutting edge, 180mm overall, 105mm closed. It’s a very cool knife that is not at all flimsy, has great lockup and very solid detent. Blade centering is reflected in the price that is very reasonable.
Eric Parmentier Babiroussa - $sold
The only one in existence with this blade shape, the Babiroussa is an extremely hard to find piece by a Belgian maker Eric Parmentier. Lovely eucalyptus scales and file work. Eric’s work is extremely difficult to find. 75mm blade and 172mm overall The opening and locking mechanism is really cool.
Colonial by Gaetan Cestelyn - $sold
Fantastic condition with a beautiful T10Mo blade with rounded spine and ribbed thumb rest. Ebony scales with blue liners. Early lockup and perfectly centered blade. Blade length 85mm, 125mm overall.
Filip DeCoene (Ensizen) Hybrid - $200
Hybrid friction folder by Filip De Coene (Ensizen), the maker from Belgium. He does some extremely cool minimalistic designs, one of which is actually displayed in a design museum in Belgium.
And the only US maker on the list, Jake Elenbaas with his Moby Linerlock - $sold
Funky looking Jake Elenbaas Moby linerlock with parkerized blade, Westinghouse micarta bolsters and black micarta scales, clip and backspacer. Some snail trails on blade from Parkerizing treatment; wicked sharp original edge. Late but solid lock up, no blade play - easily adjustable pivot (under bolster). Lanyard hole.
Specifications:
Closed 5”
Blade Length: 3.25”
Overall Length: 8.25”
Scales: Westinghouse bolsters with black micarta
Blade Steel: 1095
