How can I get a moderator to assist with a knife I purchased, and it is not in the condition as advertised? I bought a $1200 Eustler Dukling which was described by the seller as "Like New". The knife in nothing like new! It has clearly been carried a lot! There are scuff marks on the milling on...

Boru13, the pictures are close to hi-def, I’m assuming you can see them as well and he doesn’t dispute the pictures. He immediately went scorched earth and hit me with negative review (I replied in kind). This is 100% buyers remorse. I don’t have a lot of positive reviews (17) but this is not who I am. Any chance of an amicable solution ended when he repeatedly called me dishonest. I will not answer his messages going forward. Sorry for getting you involved.This needs to be addressed.

Did you tell him that there were no refunds if he were to be dissatisfied with the condition of the knife upon receipt? Where was it disclosed that there was no right to return the knife and that the sale was final once funds were sent?

And if I sold you a knife and you found it unsatisfactory upon receipt, would you not expect me to do the honorable thing and return your money once you returned the knife to me?
(I have not looked at his comments as yet, and I don't condone leaving a bad public review unless and until the other party has been uncooperative or unreasonable. But we can address that later on.)
Would you not want others to know that you can be counted upon to do the right thing...as well as count on others to do so? A good reputation can be destroyed rather quickly. For the record, I do not think that your doing the right thing should be predicated upon the action of another.
Will you refund the payment if he sends you back the knife? (At which time we can remove any reviews regarding the voided transaction.)

its the unsatisfactory part that’s under my skin. I bought it and shelved under same terms I sold it. Any sane person knows there‘s nothing wrong with it. I'm not sure that any "sane person" could testify as to the date that the images were taken if you want to go that route. I'm not questioning them, but you're asking us to take on faith that they are a fair representation when, in fact, there is no way for us to vet that.
Much easier if you'd just get it back, return his money and move on. In the end, it's really not about him. He will have to answer for his actions with other buyers or sellers (and members) here.
You shouldn't need us to hold your feet to the fire.
