Beautiful knives Charlie! Wonderful work by ESNYX!Back in 2017, I brought a poster of Russell Barlow catalog drawings to the GEC Rendezvous! I showed it to Evan Nicolaides (of ESNYX fame),
and he said he would try and make that pattern for me!! Since that time, Evan has made a lot of knives, and won many Awards,
putting his own spin on traditional Pocket Cutley!! But he never forgot what we discussed. I gave him the poster, and he spilled coffee on it,
but the poster lived through it!!
April, 2025, Evan decided it was time!! I received a package in Eugene, at my motel, and I'll always remember that day!! Just in time for the Oregon Knife Show!!
The three knives are handled in Gabon Ebony, Mammoth and Sawcut Bone!!

Thanks for posting that page, John!! And, you have some real nice specimens there!!Stunning barlows Charlie, Evan did a great job as usual. Congratulations!
Here's a picture of an original Russell next to a regular frame Russell and a catalog page I have, I've seen another page that had these curved ones listed as a veterinarian's barlow, they are quite hard to find.

Whatever "very Charlie" means, I like it!!! Ha Ha!!Wow, wow , wow! Spectacular looking knives! While I admire Evan's vision with some of his modern patterns, I truly prefer his traditional work.
Those are clean, beautiful, and elegant. And very "Charlie".
Congrats!
It is very similar to one of the blades on a modern saddlehorn, which they call a "skinner" blade. What is that blade shape called?
Thanks, John!! I'm glad my liners are also "Iron"!! (Steel!!)You're welcome Charlie, here is another page out of a HSB catalog, it's showing they were more expensive than a standard Russell single blade barlow, probably why we don't find them very often.

Traditional, with some of Evan's flair!! That pattern personifies cutlery greatness, and Evan carries the ball!!They certainly are some of Evan’s finest work
