Evenheat KF or LB

I will say the lady I spoke to at kiln frog was very nice and helpful. It just came down to both had the same price and I had to make a decision. I like to do business in one spot if I can and usaknifemaker offers more stuff I might need. I see it like if I buy quite a bit of stuff from one person it can be used as leverage if you ever have an issue. Maybe my thinking is wrong. What might make a person choose Kiln Frog over USAknifemaker?
I'm close to pulling the trigger on a kiln, I also use USA Knifemaker, I was just wondering if you got a good/bad vibe from either company. I appreciate your reply.

TruGrit had the best price on the KF series. But, if I had it to do over again.......I could've saved $44 buying from SoulCeramics as mentioned earlier in this thread.

Hello Everyone,
Sorry, I'm new and just created an account so please forgive me if I am not posting in the correct place. I have been following and reading a lot of posts on here for a few years now and have learned so much. Thank you everyone who has posted about heat treating ovens, I have learned a lot, and am in the process of ordering one from https://www.soulceramics.com/ . In talking with them, and asking about shipping prices to Hawai`i, they were very helpful, gave me a discount (they took $100 off to help with me shipping cost), and offered another discount code to anyone else on this lovely forum. This is what was sent to me:

"Also - thanks for letting us know you found us on Blade Forums! If anyone there is looking for a discount, I just created a coupon for $50.00 off: BLADEFORUMS50 "

I hope this can help those looking for another small discount. I thought they were so nice and made this account just to post. Thank you everyone and be safe.

I'll offer my recent experiences with my Evenheat oven for anyone shopping for ovens to consider. I have an older KH418 model with Rampmaster controller. It has been working well for the last 8 years or so (as far as I can tell). But in the last couple of days the controller has not been working properly. A few problems include the readout telling me the program is complete when trying to run a program, temperatures rising way past a programmed temp and poor temp control generally speaking. I will be calling Evenheat this week but the accounts I've read so far about their customer service don't fill me with confidence.

I was going to start taking a look at Paragon but sounds like they aren't much better.

I just purchased one from Soul Ceramics as well, gave me $100 off too. Great place to buy from, couple bucks cheaper than the rest, free shipping as well.
