So today has been a lesson in the sweet and sour. You guys aren't gonna believe this, and it's not like I can post pics to prove it; today I got some very bad news and some very good news.

The bad news was that my girlfriend of four years dumped me and kicked me out.

The good news is that Lexi emailed me today and said that my payment has cleared and my TGLB is on the way.

Every cloud, and all that!

Every Cloud should have an INFI lining........:D

You can always get a new girlfriend, but not so with the TGLB. Congrats on your "good" news!:D:thumbup:

Well glad to hear the good news I'm sure the TGLB will serve you well...however it sounds like you might need a mistress now and by that I mean battle mistress:D

It's like I could almost sense your bad day and had to turn it around for you! Or ruin it for you....depending on the answer of it she dumped you before or after the e-mail. :)

Seriously though, sorry to hear it didn't work out! :thumbdn:

Lol! no, she dumped me before the email! But your good news and most of a bottle of Jack has eased my pain significantly!

By the way, that's also why I sent you that second email about changing my delivery address...can't risk my TGLB falling into her hands now. She may have taken my dignity, my youth and my faith in mankind, but she's not gonna rob me of my INFI!!

Thanks again, Lexi. Seriously, you took the edge off of one of the worst days of my life, and I am truly grateful.

Figure there are at least 500 million women in the world and ROM 2500 TGLB's. Take the odds

Getting dumped does suck, but it is true that there are a lot more fish in the sea. At some point in the future when you have met a new gal that is even better, the old one will be just a memory. I always say, remember the good times and forget the bad (easier said than done at first though).

Congrats on your new knife, and take care!

Your looking at things wrong. Knives cost less than girlfriends, aren't nearly as difficult to figure out and look better in snakeskin pants.

So, to update you guys I feel a little better now because:

1. I got a new job that is pretty cool. It's for a charity and I've always wanted to do something worthwhile (I used to work at enterprise rent-a-car...worst company EVER.)
2. MY GODDAM TGLB HAS BEEN SHIPPED!!!!! YEAH BABY!!!!!!

A breakup can be world shattering...... But a great job and new toy, all at once..... Things are looooking up dude!!!

Been a good while since I was dumped... ;) But as bad as it felt at the time I can honestly say it was possibly the best thing that ever happened to me... :D :D Take it as a sign or starting point to move forward, think hard about the reasons she did so (if it was about "you" it is worth thinking on a bit - once the emotions subside) and use it as a starting point. also look for something amusing in it, hard I know but you will find it, I still laugh when I see my ex's boyfriend (now husband) back in the small town I (we) grew up in, if he sees me in a pub he goes home, if he sees me in the street he will cross to the other side... all fear.... irrational fear on his part (no honestly.... how could someone be afraid of me... :) ) But the best part is.... THIS IS 20 YEARS LATER.... :D :D I mean does he not think that if he were in ANY danger (he never was but perception is can be a curse) most rational people would have figured out that it had passed now....I just take great amounts amusement out of it all now.... ;)
