Ever been priced out of your EDC?

Since you are considering the Bone Collector have you looked at the 950 Rift? They are both great but the BC handle is a bit thicker and a little too much for my tastes. The BC can be had for about $93 and the Rift $110. The Para 2 is very popular for a reason and is probably my second favorite knife behind the Rift, and I have had hundreds of mid to high end production knives pass through my hands. The Para, while it has gone up a few bucks, can be had for $98. All prices are from some of the more popular online vendors. All 3 are made in the US if that is important to you.
 
Really my only concerns are the local 3.5" limit and a desire to stay in the $100ish range. Many of you have posted things that I hadn't ran across; funny how time away equates into a total lack of knowledge on what has come out in the past few years.
