I haven't. I've sold a couple that I keep my eye out for though. So maybe one day.![]()
Yes I did, I bought the same vintage Sheffield knife, on the bay, twice. When I first saw it I had to have it, so I put a bid and won, after sometimes I sold it on the bay as I needed cash. After 3-4 years I saw it again on the bay, it looked familiar but didn't quiet realized that I had it, but I had this feeling that I have to have it, so I put a bid ... and won. When it arrived I looked at my old notes, and guess what, it was the same knifeI kept it for a while but since I am not a collector I sold it again here on the exchange since I couldn't bring myself to use it.
Here it is with GEC 83

Nice story. As for me - NO I have yet to buy the same style knife twice let alone the very same knife![]()
I don't think I've ever done that myself, but I do have a story. I bought a nice Randy Lee drop point sheath knife on the bay some years ago. I owned it for a few years and subsequently put it up for sale to fund some other knives. The fella that originally sold it to me bought it, and was so happy to have it back. He didn't realize how much he'd missed it, until he had the chance to own it again.
