Ever jeard of Orange Sage wood?

and looking at it the grain looks like you could do some amazing things with it.

I had considered staining it a dark color like black walnut, and bringing out the grain with spar varnish. It looks as though if it were finished like teak or mahogany you could almost have a flaming effect from the grain.

Beautiful stuff for sure, and the blades that have been posted with it look top notch. I am looking forward to using the stuff....
