Ever Known Anyone to Carry Just One Knife?

My buddy has carried the same stainless fully serrated Spyderco Police for 15 years.

I love the story, but can you explain this?

My mind keeps coming back to it, trying to figure it out.
I spoke earlier in regards to the story of my Grandfather and his one particular knife, who was My Mother's father. My Dad's father died long before I was born, my Dad had only just graduated High School, so obviously I didn't know him. I was an only grandchild on my mother's side of the family and since my uncle was killed in the accident at 26 (oddly on that side of the family, the first born male child died at 26 in a vehicle accident for 2 generations, I was careful that year of my life lol), I became the Heir to the Family Farm, not a big one or riches but that is just how that was seen back then. I didn't get along with my mother very well so when she finally lost her last game of marbles in her head (not that it was actually her fault, medications for bipolar/schizophrenia really weren't much of a thing in the early 90s down home) and decided to leave and get a divorce, I was old enough to legally choose who I would stay with. Obviously, given my relationship with my mother, I chose my Father/Dad and along with me came my Mother's Parents. Our holidays' got easier too. With my mother essentially out of the picture, both sides of the family would get together and have dinners and such. It was an area where a lot of folks would stop by, set on the porch and socialize.

I hope this helped instead of making the confusion worse. I think very rapidly and do not always convey what I'm trying to say very well. My spelling and grammar are also horrendous.

I also want to say that I love that people who had not seen this old thread have come in and continued it with me and telling stories!
