Ever like a knife so much you bought it twice?

Lost my Sebenza Lg 21 a month or so after buying it and had to have it replaced. Managed to score a plain Lg Sebenza for a decent price.

Bought a waved Delica 4 right after I bought my first Delica. Couldn't hold on on the superb quality!

I've been carrying a Vic alox Soldier for a year and a half and since it's been discontinued I've been worried about wrecking it because it sees a fair bit of abuse. I bought a backup Vic, then I bought a Wenger SI just to try it and compare the two. Now I just got another Vic Soldier in a trade. I went from one to four in the last month. I guess I'm set now.

2 Enduras
2 Delicas
2 BM 710s
2 BM AFCKs
2 CS LTCs (Carbon V)
2 CS ATCs (Carbon V)
2 CS Gurkha Kukris (Carbon V)
2 Junglee Short Swords
5 Criswell Katanas (variable lengths, handle & blade)
2 BRKT Northwind Short Swords
2 BRKT Bosnian Skinners
2 BRKT Gameskeepers
2 BRKT Goloks

My Spyderco ZDP CF Caly 3 has a backup. For its size that knife is perfect in every way, especially after you take the edge down to .005" thick.
Of course I have multiples of the Spyderco Military (BG-42 and S90V), and two Spyderhawks (SE and PE), and three Enduras (ZDP SE/PE, and a SE E4W).

Then the Kershaw Volt. Straight forward design with nearly everything just the way I like it, and it was executed brilliantly.
And two Shallots (S110V and ZDP), and two Blurs (SG-2 and ZDP).

Small and light, easy pocket carry even in dress pants.

I've thinking about remaking something similar in wood, but I don't know if it's possible.

Knives I have bought more than once (some perhaps more than twice, but I will never admit it--especially to my wife!).

I but 2 of every knife I get. One for collecting and one for EDC. Most of the time I end up selling or trading one off.

2 lone wolf ranger t3
5 lone wolf tactical t2 (2 frn, 3 red/black micarta)
4 lone wolf tactical t1 (2 g10, 1 serrated cocobolo, 1 carbon fiber)
2 ritter m4 griptilians
2 lone wolf dark ravens
2 lone wolf cheyenne (1 satin/frn, 1 tini/g10)

considering buying a t2 ranger

I think the Military is the most notorious for this addictive trait.
But they have a lot of cool versions of it. Generally spyderco
comes up with cool variations for their knives and I can see why
people collect different types.

If I had the money I'd have a lot of variants of the Benchmade
4X series balisongs. Though I'm not sure if it counts as having
the same exact knife as they are a bit different from model to model.

Spyderco Millie, got 14 of em'.

Thought I was sick for the 12 or so I've gotten.

Bought several of the same knife models. Some, offhand,

Kershaw JYDII
Paramiltary I
BM710
large Grip
small Grip
Spyderco ATR
Spyderco Endura
Spyderco Delica
Spyderco Kiwi (bought it, sold it, replaced it later with multiples)
Multiple Vic's
Sebenza

and a whole lot more

Anything I like I gotta buy 2 of

2 SERE 2000 plus a mini
3 Military
2 Para Military
2 original Manix
2 A-100 plus a mini
2 Izula
2 RMD
2 Craftsman
2 Ranger
2 Climber
3 Farmer
4 Soldier
2 Swisstool
2 Spirit

Many a time for me. I plan over the next few months to replace my Boker Titan Defender that was stolen this summer, a MT Scarab that I gave my son, a ZT 0200 I sold ( replaced this one 4 times so far), a ZT 0500MUDD, and a ZT 0650.
