I feel so ill right now. I think I lost my daily carry little back up. Carry it no matter what main blade I carry that day. My GEC Pemberton. Love that knife. Won't know for sure that I lost it til I go to work tomorrow and see if it's on my desk. Sometimes at work I'll pull it out and play with it. Think I'm going to vomit and the anticipation is killing me. I will definitely buy another one if I lost it. Anyone else here lost a knife?

My son is notorious for jacking my knives, he'll take em and hide them only God knows where. One day I noticed my manic xl was gone and no where to be found. About a month later, after I thought it was gone, my son walks up and hands me it! After that ordeal I keep a close eye on my knives.

Never lost one but I've only been in the game for about 4 years and I only use knives with pocket clips.

Don't feel too bad, working on fishing boats I have lost over a dozen knives overboard.

I lost a benchmade mini griptilian at the recycling center one day. I was cutting up cardboard and must've set it down and then stacked cardboard on top of it. Well, in it went. What's worse is that no one even got a chance to find a good knife. It was immediately mushed up in the compactor.

Have lost three knives. First was a benchmade rukus that I had for all of 2 1/2 weeks. I made the mistake of putting it down on the counter our backroom at work to go outside and help load product into our storage sheds. Came back 15 minutes later and could not find it. Pretty sure an ex coworker swiped and pawned it. Second knife I lost was a microtech halo 3. Still don't know where that one ever got to. The final one was a blem 0561 that had a blue krytoglow scale on it. I left it in my rrp in my jeans coming back from a wedding in Oregon in my checked back mind you. I had four other knives with me so I could choose which one I fancied best at that time(Spyderco Navaja for the wedding) and those made the trip home just fine. The jeans and my knife never made it back home. Why confiscate the knife and my jeans?

Lost so many cheap knives. I think mainly just because they seemed more expendable. And by cheap i mean like >30$. Mainly because I was a kid and not very responsible. A lot better now haven't lost one in a few years. More careful now with better quality knives that will break the bank if lost.

And that is why I'm never having kids:D:p
JK...

But, I once lost a kershaw damascus chive while I was at a new years party and I thought some idiot got away with my prized knife. About 3 months later I was cleaning the inside of my washing machine and I found it tucked into a crevice in the machine! I pulled it out and it was rusted like a paper clip in a rainstorm, but a few days with flitz and pcb board etching solution it was just like new!

Since then, I constantly keep track of my knives:D

Couple of weeks back I was weighing a series of Kale crops for a client using my yellow mini grip to cut the samples. Last paddock went for the knife and it wasn't in my pocket!?! so after we finished I doubled back to see if I could find it. These paddocks were 5-10 ha in size and the kale between waist and shoulder high so almost a literal Needle in the Haystack!!. After spending 30 minutes looking for the last cut we made in what turned out to be the wrong paddock I properly retraced my steps found the correct paddock, found the cut and the path we used to get out of the paddock and crawling through the crop surprisingly easily spotted the Mini Grip innocently amongst shoulder high Kale. Got to say I love brightly coloured handles!!!!

When I was 9 or 10 my grandpa bought me my first Spyderco. I think I had it all of a month or two before I lost it. I'm still not even sure how I lost it but I'm pretty sure it went flying off the running board of my grandpas truck somewhere in Mesa, AZ.

I also had a Schrade Joe Beaver signature edition I lost somewhere way back when.

Since those days I'm always randomly feeling for my knife now.

recently i heard blur blurp blurp ... my knife had disapeared in the water when i were on a suspension bridge. the clip had caught in the net.... :grumpy:

Yeah, my Spydie Ladybug,
Had it with me always, left in some shorts, had been laying a year in the closet,
I was going on a trip and was packing my bags, felt a bump in my pants, and found my Spydie
yeaaaaaahhh!

Ive lost cheap flea market knives before i was turned on to brand name knives, i dont recall losing a brand knife maybe a gerber lst my friend gave me but i pretty much try to keep them with me as much as possible. Although everyday at work i spend about 10 mins combined looking for my gerber curve which i use to cut athletic tape to put on fishing reels to have a more seccure knot when putting fishing line on them. I work at a sporting goods store in the fishing and camping section, and i have the knives too in my dept. which get fondled daily.

Edit: but luckily i never lose my lil gerber curve, tiny but handy instead of using my leatherman for such small tasks.

Spyderco sage 1 at my old job. I knew who took it just couldn't prove it...
I hate thieves!

And my first ever spyderco a Civilian (Damn!)
That was the knife that got me into collecting folders

I have a Kershaw Boa and Leak missing some where in a storage box. Boxed up everything in my computer room about two years ago. Last I saw of them. Every couple of months I search boxes nothing yet. I'm sure I've searched every where though.
