ever lose your slippie in a silo?

Interesting story, and I'm very sorry for your loss.
My granddad died last year, they will always be with us.
They were great men, the best there were.

Sorry for your loss, but its also a celebration of a life that meant so much to many people. Enjoy all the wonderful memories that will flood your mind over the next few weeks.

I'm truly sorry for your loss. There is something remarkable about having something once posessed by a loved one.

I have my grandpa's pocketknife, nothing fancy, just a Schrade Old Timer T80. It came to me through my brother after grandpa died. As the oldest grandchild, I inherited a silver dollar grandpa carried every single day of his life, since his own father gave it to him for his 8th birthday. My brother really wanted it, so I gave it away to him, though it was a hard thing to do. A few weeks later Grandpa's knife showed up in the mail as a thank you from my brother.

I carry that knife every Sunday for gentle use. It's wonderful to have a physical connection that binds me to Grandpa each time I use it, and you can bet it is my sharpest, highest polished edge! I hope your Primble does the same for you.
