Oh joy! I just found my favorite folder that I had lost over a month ago. I found my Spyderco half serrated Tenacious this morning. I thought I lost it at work and someone stole it but it was at home the whole time. I know my tenacious isnt a high dollar knife but it is probably the best bang for my buck i have ever got. If you ever lost a knife only to find it again what model was it?

decades go, I was still a young man, I had one knife, a loved and used Puma.
I lost it, or so I tought.
Which brought me to buy a new one, which realy started my addiction...

I found it 3years later as we bought a new couch and dismantled the old one. Guess what was in there?
The old Puma...

5 years ago I helped some friends moving. Days later I missed my PST, couldnt find it anywhere and considered it lost during packing.

Went for a new Leatherman.

A year later my SO and I wanted to paint the kitchen, guess what I found in my old work-shoes?

Always a happy feeling, finding old and trusted friends...

Thought I lost my Large Seb last year. Came home on a Fri and could not find it. It was in my pocket during work that day. I called in to see if anyone had found it. I was sick to think I lost such a nice knife.

Monday came and I was in the garage getting ready to leave work. There it was...Hanging from a hole in the pocket of a vest I was wearing at work. The pocket clip somehow got stuck in the hole and came out of my pocket. Can't tell you how happy I was it got found. Was actually kind of funny seeing it just hanging from the vest pocket. Sure, funny knowing it was there. Was't too funny when I thought it got lost!

Yep, I lost a case slip joint 40 years ago, found it about 30 years ago laying on the top of a beam where I had set it while building the house. Remember it well cause it was my first and only lost knife until 10 years ago, that one showed up too.

Once. When I was pretty young... I have no idea what make it was, it had no markings. It had about a five inch clip point "bowie"-ish blade with wood slabs on a full tang. In the carelessness of youth it got dropped in the grass and lost. I found it about a year later, rusted beyond saving.

Yes. A Case 6445R scout knife lost while doing inventory in the dry storage area of our plant. Found 1 year later at the bottom of a large cardboard box of unused salami casings.

I missplaced my rock salt like two weeks ago. When I find it which will be soon ill let you all know.

I recently found my Buck Solitaire straight edge folder.....lost and gave up on it over 6 years ago !!

It made it out of my truck I remember ;thought I put it in the house. I teared my whole house apart for weeks looking. It was in my garage in a box of junk I found when cleaning it out last week. I'm glad I found it :):)

When I was back home a month or two ago I found an old hunting knife in my parents atic that was one
of my favorites in my early teens. I had presumed it stolen by one of my less trust worth friends. :foot:

Lost my Leafstorm about two weeks ago at my sisters house. My wife found it four days later in the dog pen out back. My 6 year old found it at my sister's, put it in his pocket to give to me, evidently forgot it was there and it fell out of his pocket in the dog pen when he got home. I have such a good boy and I guess a chip off the old block.

this just happened to me 2 days ago. about 10pm i discovered my Stretch II was no longer in my pocket. i hadn't required a knife all day and never missed it. i was very bummed but decided to retrace my steps home and went to the alley behind my place where i'd taken the garbage out 6 hrs earlier. BAM! it was tucked under some cardboard on the ground! very cool. it felt like finding a hundred bucks. i really love that knife.:thumbup:

It wasn't my favorite knife but I lost a Kershaw Chive at work once. It fell behind some shelves in the warehouse and I found it six months later when I was changing over our seasonal inventory. I had already bought another one so I gave the new one to my friend and kept the old one as it was a gift.

A couple of years ago now, but I lost my faithful Spyderco Endura EDC. I ran right out and bought a new one after spending all of a day looking for it. I found it about a week later in my gym bag. Funny because I checked that bag a few times during my original search. Just happy to get it back:)

I had 4 beautiful Italian switchies. A couple of leverlocks, a picklock and a swing guard. I had them on an old T-shirt and had played with them, lubed and polished them up. Thought I'd leave the blades open for a day and close 'em back up and store them again, so I wrapped them nicely and put them somewhere out of the way of wandering eyes and hands.

That was almost 3 years ago - still MIA! :grumpy:

Yes,...When I was a boy of 11yr I lost my beloved Barlow pocket knife on a walk around are corn field. I looked for weeks, back tracking around the fields staring at the ground. When I was 15yrs old I was putting out a trap line and I saw a flash of silver sticking out of the dirt.....You guessed it, my beloved Barlow knife was all rusted up but I found it 4 years later.

I lost my small Sebenza Classic for a few days only but that was enough! I retraced my walk to my truck from work and searched everywhere I had been in thouse couple of days. I ended up finding it behind my bed because when I yanked the belt off my pants to put them in the laundry it must have caught on the clip and flipped it behind the bed. I really question using a pocket clip now and often slip my Buck Waimia in the bottom of my pocket.

I lost my Benchmade Stryker for about a year. I had already bought a replacement and had moved on to a new EDC when I found it clipped inside the pocket of a pair of pants that were folded up in the bottom of the dresser. I still have it but I sold the replacement.

My son, at about 8 years old, gave me a tiny little (3" closed) Ol' Timer clip point folder that became my EDC.

Then I lost it. Searched everywhere, and I mean everywhere... no luck. Very disappointed.

Then about two weeks later, out in the driveway, I caught a glimpse of brass in the dirt... and there it was. Guess it had fallen out of my pocket while changing oil or something. Oh joy!

Still carry that little knife everyday, and he's almost 19 now.

i lost my kershaw scallion last winter, i had put it in my jacket pocket and it somehow fell out in the snow, i searched everywhere for it with no luck, in ealry spring i take a walk outside in the slushy snow and step on something, looked down and sure enough, my kershaw scallion is sittin in muddy slush
