  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Ever Play Mumbledy Peg?

I used to play it all the time with my little brother. I am 27 now and the last time I played I was 12. I clearly remember the 3 blade "old timer" slipjoint sticking up out of the middle of my BARE left foot!

OUCH!!

Still got the scar.

Hoowee!! This thread sure brings back some memories!! We used to play a "short" form of Mumbledy at recess that was between 6 to 10 "flips" long. We played a lot of Stretch too. I remember my favorite Mumbledy knife was an old Daddy Barlow that had stuck in someone's sneaker more than once. The last time I played was in '66 or '67 over in 'Nam when we got a game up at base camp. Anybody up for a game now?? I'll play!!

Richard
