Ever sell a knife and regret it soooooo bad?

Paramilitary 1 (digicam & black blade)
Trailmaster (I just recently traded away the second one)
Spyderco Ocelot
BM Mini Grip
BM 210
zt200
I'm sure there are others

And others that I just plain regret having sold and would rebuy if they weren't so outrageously over-priced right now:
Volt (unblemished)
Ti-Tyrade

Others I DON'T regret selling/trading that knifenuts seem to love:
BM mini Skirmish
BM mini Rukus
3 BM large grips
Delica
2 ZT300s

I think that should about cover it.

Sage 2. Wish I kept it even though I like the sage 1 better. I have dreams about it and how nice it felt in my hand and inside my pocket.

Caly3 carbon fiber. I eventually got another. Still like the Sage1 better but had to have the Caly3 to round out my spyderco carbon fiber collection :) .

I've has so many one-of-a-kind blades that I've had to sell.
I had A Jack Crain LS-2, a Crain LS Hunter and a 1 off custom that he made for me based on my own design.
I also had a Dave Beck Tracker and 2 Beck customs of my design that he made for me.
Knives I'll never be able to get back but at the time I needed money desperately.
I really miss my large Benchmade Skirmish too. Shouldn't have sold that one.

Im a gun trader more than a knife trader. I can barely talk about some of the guns that have slipped thru my hands over the years. Makes me want to cry..
Heres a tip:
If you dont want to sell something dont price it, dont think by outrageously overpricing it will scare off the guy pestering you to buy it..Lost a early Rem 1100 special field like that once. Got more than double what the gun booked for but have missed it ever since. Just one of those guns that felt like an extension of your arm. Hundreds of guns have passed thru my hands but I can count on my hands the ones I regret giving up.

benchmade mini grip. I sold it because I thought it felt cheap handle wise. Bought a mini bone collector because I thought it would be like the mini grip but with better handles. Turns out it was just a really heavy mini grip style knife and very heavy in the pocket. Bought another mini grip off the forums the other day. I can't even tell it's there. Don't know what you got till it's gone....

A Busse Custom Shop FSH one of a kind , i regretted so , sooo much !!! And i hate that i dont have even a picture with the knife . It was a blue and black G-10 Handle ( black bolster ) and the blade was like wavy on top , not serrated . I have never seen one again like that !

There are three knives that I no-longer have that I WISH I still had:

REKAT Sifu
Benchmade 805
Gerber Yari (old style)

Benchmade 710 M2 HS 1st edition. There were at least 6 more M2 knives. All gone and I want one even though M4 is a better steel for my uses.I only have 1 Benchmade M2 knife left. A Nimravus.

The Spyderco Ti ATR. I had a perfect one. I needed money and got rid of it. Still bothers me.

5.5" Camillus Maxx in D2. It was a NIB spare. Yes, I really wish I kept it.

There are more.

I haven't done it with a knife but I did it with a few lights though .
FENIX TK10 ; I sold it then I bought another one which ended by being sold also :) - no 18650 confirguration -
INOVA T5 tiros - bought then sold , then bought another one which was also sold - too large , too inefficient although the built-like-a-tank feeling is impressive .

The E1L, L1, E1B - all of them have been initially sold , then they were bought again : now I have 2 x E1Bs, 2 x E1Ls and an L1 - I have probably got the SF addiction.

Hopefully it's not offtopic .
I do understand the people who sold the SKIRMISHes . As I was considering them some of the best looking production knives , I bought them right before the price went up : 140$ for a NIB 630 and 110$ for a used 635 . I would probably never sell them

Never heard of a $500+ Skirmish...
I have always regretted selling my SOG Lg. Vulcan... Arc/Axis-lock was perfect and VG-10 treated me well for years.
And I'm not really much of a SOG fan either.
What made you get rid of it? I love pretty much everything about mine.

Not really. And a couple of discontinued models like my C95 Manix and Camillus Brute are still here, although the Brute is coming back into production. Well I've given away a few Enduras and had to have one again soon after, maybe that counts.:)

I had a BRKT Manitou, it was 1st prod. run, that I acquired from a co-worker. This is pre-obsession. I sold it to fund an ESEE-5. The 5 is great but I miss that Manitou. I

have not seen one like it. Oh well, now i have plenty more to fill the void.
