Ever sold a knife, only later wish you hadn't?

I think you may have opened up a very painfull wound :(
I too have sold some very nice knives that I regrett VERY much...I shudder when I think about it actually.

Been there myself! I have to keep telling myself they are "just knives"!
The good thing is, another one comes along like clockwork!;)

About 30 years ago I had bought a Robeson Suredge medium Jack with red jigged bone, I paid $5 at a yard sale.

Weeks later I found myself in a flea market where I happened upon a knife table and the guy was real happy to trade me an OTF Edge Brand Auto, I wish I knew then what I knew now, every time I see the Auto, I wanna kick myself.

For a long time, I really regretted giving away my first 943sbk, I got it for a really good price, and gave it away to my brother.

sigh

to quench the regret, I picked up another one

Let's keep the discussion to "traditional knives" folks...thank you.
