Ever sold a knife only to buy it again later?

I thought they made it with or without the coating.

i dunno about that, for me it is because the coarse coating attracts dirt so I cant use my blades for foods before cleaning it up using brushes. what makes me want one again is after i seen it looks great when the coatings stripped through use.

Sold my F1 Falkniven only to buy one a few weeks later.:D

Why are you "neutral-to-negative" on the compression lock?

Just a personal preference. Didn't have any problems w/ it, I think it was maybe just b/c I've owned so many axis, liner/frame & back locks that I didn't quite get used to it. I only had it for a couple weeks which is maybe why I'm considering giving it another shot...?

Yes earlier this week I sold my bm 710 (Monday) by Wednesday I was already looking at buying another one....till yesterday when I depleted my funds for a ti military...and now I still want my 710..

Did it a bunch of times with the Paramilitary 2 (4 of them in all) everytime I sold one I would read more and more glowing reviews on them and I thought "I must not be giving it a chance." Did the exact same thing with the Sebenza (all different sizes and models). I just couldn't warm up to either of them.

Did the same thing with a much carried and loved Cold Steel American Lawman and Recon 1. I would not accept nor could believe that these cheap "mall ninja" Taiwanese knives could be worth owning and even enjoying more than high end CRK's, Striders and much loved Spyderco's. Seriously I had a hard time accepting that so they were sold.

Needless to say....After selling all the knives I own my Cold Steel American Lawman arrived yesterday and I am currently waiting for UPS to deliver my Recon Scout today.

Got a 940 osborn, lost it, bought it again, then sold it.
Bought tenacious, sold it, bought one sold it.
Bought a dragonfly2, sold it, bought a dragonfly2 H1 SE and love it.

Lost a SOG Pentagon Elite with the old liner lock they had, 15 years later bought the new version. I gave my cousin my all black Kershaw Leek for his birthday back in July, still wish I had it, but am saving my funds for other things.

Understood, I was just curious. I haven't really heard someone complain about it before is all. To me the Axis lock is marginally easier to use and I've read that it is stronger. But the rest of the ergonomics on the Para 2 are just so damn good.

I would like to see a "Paramilitary Mini" with a handle that is slightly shorter and a blade that is a bit less thick. Essentially a Para 2 that is the size of the Benchmade 530.

The Benchmade 530 has a 3.25" blade. The PM2, IIRC, has a 3.3" blade. The 530 has a thinner blade, but if you want a mini, then you might ask for a 3" blade tip to grip to get by some of the more restrictive states' regs.

I came very close to buying a BM 530 for the second time when I was looking for a lightweight summer carry knife but decided against.

Havent had a repeat offender yet...

Yeah, but I didn't mention anything about blade lengths. "with a handle that is slightly shorter and a blade that is a bit less thick"

My ESEE 3 mil, sold it and tried so many other knives to find my perfect backpacking fixed blade. Now I have a new 3 mil back in that role because I could not find a better knife.

The compression lock is my favorite thing about the PM2 and has made this model my favorite folder of ALL time. I do see my "old" folders come back every so often. There are some old favorite smooth-ridin' large Sebbies out there, though, that haven't returned. Perhaps one of these days, I'll see 'em again on the Exchange.

Guilty! Had a Doug Ritter RSK Mk3 years ago - Liked the blade, but sold it - Just bought another off of the forums here this month. Lone the blade, but now I remembered why I sold it -- Small and short handle and the sheath is very disappointing. I may look for a better sheath and keep it this time.

Trying to find someone on the exchange who has a military that will trade for my 940. I seem to miss my military and pm2s more and more everyday. I really wish I gave them a chance instead of catching and releasing so fast
