ever wish your Eskabar was a little bigger and stainless?

I've tried to like/use my BK14 and my BK11. They are good knives, but the handles are just too small to fit my hands comfortably. I have a cheapo Boker folder that I use for EDC over the BK14.... looking to upgrade. Also very interested in a tweener, but those are likely too big for EDC.

First, I am shocked and dismayed by the 14-hate. I carry mine almost 24/7.

Second, the 17 EDCs nicely, I stick it in a pocket in a leather sheath....carrys well. But it is illegal to carry it concealed in some areas.

Thanks, Sam! I found it at a gun show last year. Got a good price for it, but the original scales were way too small, so I made some micarta scales. I used to varry it in my truck but thought I'd be too distraught if someone ever broke in and stole it. My Campanion, blued (I removed the original gray paint) and with Kabar micarta scales rides there now.

It came with the Eagle sheath. Looks like it's had some use but still in good shape. Same kind that came with my Campanion (got it in '96 while deployed to Bosnia, had the ugly gray paint finish but no markings), only longer.

At Least D2 is Semi-Stainless, half way there!
D2 is very hard too rust with proper care though,

I use mothers car wax on my carbon steel and it never rusts, or just use baby oil or vaseline, heavy weight machine grease layed on thick will do the trick.
