Ever work with Morado and Arariba?

No not South American Soap(edited) stars.

Picked up a plank of each at the wood place yesterday.
I found a few reference about them online but I was just curious if any of you guys ever used them.

Morado is another trade name for Pau ferro but arariba can mean several different species.

It said arariba rose if that helps.

Thanks Larry, that's what I found too. I was just curious if anybody had tried it for knife handles.

It's pretty obscure and being several lumped together species hard to pin down with any certainly.
