Hello everyone,
I wanted to introduce Everest Forge, a project I’ve built to preserve and promote traditional Nepalese blade-making. We specialize in hand-forged kukris, swords, machetes, and working knives, crafted using time-honored techniques by local blacksmiths in Nepal.
Our blades are made from high-carbon steel, most commonly from recycled 5160 leaf springs, and are water-tempered for strength and flexibility. Each blade is shaped and finished entirely by hand — no CNC, no shortcuts. These are functional tools built for real-world use, not just display.
We offer a wide range of blades including:
Traditional kukris (Sirupate, Bhojpure, Angkhola, Panawala)
Combat and survival kukris
Jungle machetes and utility knives
Custom-forged swords based on historical and original designs
We also offer custom blade work. If you have a specific design in mind or want to bring your own concept to life, you can submit it here:
www.everestforge.com/custom-forge
Our goal is to deliver reliable, handcrafted blades while supporting Nepalese smiths who have been practicing this craft for generations. We take pride in blending heritage with functionality.
You can see more of our work at:
www.everestforge.com
I appreciate your time and would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or questions. I know this community values authenticity and craftsmanship, and I’m proud to share ours with you.
Thanks,
Deepak
