This knife design came from wanting somthing small but still very comfortable and usable. This knife is very sharp and will shave hair with no problem. Has lots of file work and a nice blade shape.
Steel: O1
Heat Treating.
Hardening: Triple Quenched from non-magnetic
Tempering: Triple Tempered at 450f
Cryotreated: Triple Soaked at 1 hr each
hardness: 58rc
Handle material: Cocobolo Wood
Finish: Polished to 1000 grit then dipped in wood hardener and let dry to give a protective layer to handle and steel tang to prevent any rust from hand moisture.
Blade Finish: Close to Mirror
File work: spine has a twist file work, tang has vine file work on the top and arrow head file work on the bottom where the finger groves are. All the file work on the tang is filled so as to be smooth and flat.
Handle: The handle is very comfortable and has 3 finger groves as well as some palm swelling.
Sheath: There is no sheath but I can have one made if you want one. just let me know and I'll get one made for it. My sheath guy charges around $15-20.
Edge geometry: Blade has a flat grind from spine to edge and a convex edge that meets the flat grind.
I was not planning on selling this knife at all because I absolutely love it and have put so much time into it. but times change and I need the money to make more knives. Price for this knife is $195.00 with $10.00 shipping, it's a lot lower than the amount of time I put into it. Let me know if you want it by just saying "Ill take it," and it's first come first serve. Thanks for looking.
