I know that there are some really cool women on this forum so I am not trying to be sexist by this post but...

I am of the belief that every man needs:
A. A good watch
B. A good knife and
C. A good flashlight (torch for the non US people in the forum :D)
D. A good woman

I know that most of us have several of each. What are your favorites???

I will start.

A. Tissot T-Touch Titanium (all black with rubber strap)
B. Recently I would say my favorite is a Para 2, although the ZT 0550 might be my favorite tomorrow, the Case medium stockman might be my favorite the next day... Etc. I am sure you all understand)
C. Surefire E2D LED Defender.
D. My Fiance:)
 
Well I have to disagree on the first one. The world is full of clocks so wearing one just seems silly to me. I do have one attached to my daypack though. I use it to gauge cooking times. For the others;

My favorite edc is a SAK electrician.
Photon 2 on my keys. If I know I'm going to be out late I'll carry my Sunwayman.
Girlfriend.
 
One is not enough for any of these...;) Not trying to offend anyone, just being honest about it.

If you get the good woman, everything else will work out. If you get the wrong woman, nothing else will work out.

So focus on the woman.

- watch: Solar G-Shock (Riseman, in my case) with atomic feature
- knife: everything; seriously. Especially Spyderco. But with an emphasis on everything. And spendy does not necessarily equal a great knife, in my book. Choosing just one? Lets say Spyderco Military.
- flashlight: yeah, everything there too. But I carry mostly Quark lights in various flavors, because they are small, very powerful and well made.
- female: Mrs. Powernoodle, of course. Wife of 20 years, mother of 2, attorney, Bible thumper, mainframe-like cognition and inner tigress. What more could one want?

And besides my wife, it changes day to day.

Not all of us are fortunate enough to have several women :p

Putting that aside however I totally agree with your list.

A. Casio ProTrek PRW-5000-1ER
B. Hard to choose a favourite. Currently I am carrying the Spyderco p’kal
C. Fenix PD30 R5. Don’t use it much though. Mostly use the light on my iphone :p
D. I don’t currently have a girlfriend. Soon hopefully :)
 
I have found that having a "D" will often result in the ending of hobbies "A thru C".
 
I added D. at that end. If this was a couple of years ago I would have stopped at C.:) Also, I was going to say post pics but some people around these parts might have some pics of "D's":cool:that wouldn't be appropriate in the general forums!!

Mrs. Powernoodle sounds like quite a catch!!

too many to list but these are my favorites this month... marathon tsar and my wife got me the zaan and lenslight for my birthday :love_heart:

Here is my list
1. Suunto Vector
2. Becker BK2
3. Nebo, don't know model number.
4. Ye old ball and chain. Lol
 
I don't know if I can speak to favorites, but I'll give examples of my everyday:

A) TIMEX Expedition - as a research scientist, EVERY feature gets used on a daily basis, great watch for the $
B) Leatherman Charge TTi
C) Fenix PD30
D) My wife, my solace, the mother and teacher of our two beautiful daughters
 
A. phone is my current time piece
B. Dragonfly G10(come to realize this is as much blade as i really need)
C. Surefire E2D defender. been carrying the Backup lately though. tailcaps switched.
D. enjoying my freedom
 
In all seriousness:

A) A Seiko 5-Auto 'military'
B) Victorinox Pioneer
C) Fenix LD10, I guess. I don't carry it often, just when camping.
D) I sleep on both sides of the bed.

B. kbar dozier hunter in my pocket daily, get's the job done, becker bk5 in my edc bag in case I need to get my big slice on
C. TerraLux lightstar 220, bright as hell
D. wife of 10 years, father of our 5 children, we've had our ups and downs, I'm lucky she's still around, I can really be an idiot sometimes....try to love the one you with if you can. :thumbup:
