What? I thought it was all good fun to wish everyone a happy birthday!!!! Did I miss the birthday rule somewhere?

Jaxx, out of curiosity, how is it that people become part of this forum?
You wished me a happy birthday when mine came around (thanks again! :thumbup but I don't remember doing much anything except wandering in on here innocently back in August and posting some dumb questions that were already answered in the stickies! Seems like a simple process. Of course now I'm six Busses richer, probably seven by tomorrow night.

I pretty much try to follow the rule of HOG... A HOG is not determined by how long one has been here, nor the size of his/her collection, but by the depth of positive attitude, energy and interest in all things Busse(kin) as well as their positive contributions to this Forum. All those new to Busse and with a serious interest tend to start with questions...we were ALL new once! You must have left a good impression on me with one or more posts!

On another note... Although Shirogane went about it the wrong way, his point was already on my mind... October is saturated with birthdays, which is not surprising when you count back 9 months. It's a well known fact that couples tend to get umm...bizzzay in the dark of Winter! Jerry has suggested to me a good compromise between still recognizing HOGs' birthdays all year 'round which we believe is important to the community as a whole, and minimizing new OT threads... I think his idea will work very well and help to keep this great Forum flowing smoothly! You da HOG, Bossman! :thumbup:

It works both ways.....I made a comment about the large number of OT birthday posts and instead of a reasonable reply that addressed the issue, like the one above, I get a bunch of smart a$$ed comments and happy birthday wishes.

Yeah, you did "make a comment"...and you were rather prickish about it. Today, you decided to troll by starting 4 threads... Don't even try to tell me that you were "just trying to get into the spirit of things", because I'm not buying it.
Folks here enjoy the feeling of community & friendship that goes along hand in hand with Busse knives and the Busse Forum and me recognizing their birthdays is apparently one of the things that they like. I'm going to be trying something different, but make no mistake...you pull that trolling s*** here again and you will probably not enjoy my reaction.
