Everyday Barlow, and Tales of tinkering and bonding with knives

I do not. It's a KSF non-Northwoods sheath, but essentially the same, just without the Northwoods logo. That was my second try. I thought baking the polish in the first time was a good idea. It was not. I just used a horse hair brush and worked it until the leather accepted the polish. That took a while.

The other two New Days arrived on Wednesday, and I have since worked on them. Below are some photographs to document. I realized after examining these that they're more drop point shapes now than spear point shapes, as I'm not reshaping the edge. Compared against a factory spear shape, they aren't symmetrical.

After these were taken, I decided to work on the swedge of the Evergreen knife a little more. Difficult to maintain a perfect satin blending this part by hand, but it looks cool as the patina evolves:

I liked them a lot before, but now I really love these! I really enjoy the time I've spent working on them.

Speaking of tinkering.....I was tasked by a fellow member to mod a one arm razor to clip. So this is what I came up with this morning. I may go back in the shop to touch it up just a bit more though.

Love it, Bob! Especially nice job with the pile side swedge. What touch ups are calling to you?

Impressive swoop to that Clip now Bob, think it's a vast improvement frankly:D:thumbup:

Looks great, Bob! I was thinking about having someone do the same to my single blade one-arm opener, as it's not my favorite blade shape and doesn't see much pocket time, but I have a friend who expressed some interest in it a while back, so I think I may just gift mine to him. (Besides, I already have a single clip #15 in the same handle material/color.)

Well done mod Bob. A very nice looking clip blade for sure, love the swedges.:thumbup:
