Everyday Carry

Custom Buck 110 and leatherman pulse on belt, Buck 503 and Leatherman Micra clipped to a minimag in my pocket.

Usually have something else too, must have slipped this morning.
 
I have different EDCs for when I'm at home (like now), when out and when traveling by air.

At home -

it's now a Kershaw/Ken Onion LEEK (review )
for its "right-size", slim/sleek profile, ease of pocket-clip carry, very fast action and convenience.

Also a CMG Infinity Ultra - single AA cell LED flashlight.

Out -

SAK - Victorinox Scientist model -

Main blade
Combo tool (screwdriver/can opener/cap lifter/wire stripper)
Phillips screwdriver
Magnifying glass
Corkscrew
Jeweller's screwdriver (stored in corkscrew)
Toothpick
Tweezers
Ballpoint Pen
Straight Pin

All those functions in a very pocketable 3.5" and only 2 backsprings thick.

Mine is customized with "stag" handles - actually ivory micarta scored to look like stag.

I don't carry the Kershaw Leek off of my property, even though I know Kershaw have invested a lot of legal research on the legality of the Speed-Safe knives - they just act like "switchblades". So I'd rather not have to worry about having to argue about their legality.

Flashlights - Photon Microlight (LED)- yellow on keyring, add CMG Ultra-G single AA cell LED in my other pocket. The "G" for US Government issue version has a better white (less blue) than the plain "civilan" Ultra above....

Air Travel -

I leave my customized SAK at home - as I do not want any chance of losing the knife.
Instead I carry the Victorinox Yeoman model which addes over the Scientist model-
scissors, and the unbiquitous "universal hook (also parcel carrier)"

I pack this in my checked luggage to EDC in my pocket after arriving at my destination.....

and I restrict myself just to the LED Photon Microlight (yellow).

Between the 3, I can get into, and out of, a great deal of trouble.
 
I've just got the one EDC right now - my blue aluminum Kershaw Scallion. It's a perfect fit in the watch pocket of my jeans, and it's small enough to not freak out (too much) the sheeple in this city.
 
My former EDC was a Kershaw Scallion but it got stolen. Latley I've been switching between a Schrade Lock back, a SAK and a Buck one-hander. It will be my BM-350 IF IT COMES! And then it will probably be my BM 556 when it comes in. (I'm not going to order it because NG doesn't have it in normal edge plus my order from PVK still hasn't came).
 
Right now in my front left pocket is a small silver contrast stars and stripes sebenza S30V blade and in my right front pocket I have my micra.:D :cool: :eek: :p ;)
 
At work: Kershaw Whirlwind, because I beat the crap out of it and it opens fast even with gloves on, and a Leatherman Wave.
Not at work: BM710 in right pocket at all times, sometimes my Wave, sometimes my CRKT Companion or Schrade Sharpfinger IWB in an On/Scene sheath, depending on what part of town I am going to be in.:D
