I kinda blame it on Skystorm for giving me such a good deal on a bk 16 fpr....then I ran on a post by C. tanner and impulse bought a bk -15 just now, now I am eyeballing a bk-9, I like you guys.( the knives kind of sell themselves though:) So what should I grab next bk-5, 7, 9? I sold a Spyderco Sprint millie to get these
which is a kinda rare thing for me to do/

Just get one and start saving for the next. You will eventually get them all! I am working on my collection and can't wait for the next. I just ordered a BK4 today.
It is like a drug that you have to keep getting them!

BK9 aka "The King", you need one. Welcome to the subforum, only most of us are crazy.

Welcome to the sub forum! You are only getting started...wait till the urge to mod them gets to you!

Craziness is ok guys, im a firefighter my wife thinks im crazy for doing that job, I tell her it would be crazy to do anything else!!! thanks for all the welcomes...im buying em all eventually

Spot on.
I just got shock cord from tradewater and a turkey call from thrillbilly.
Not a better forum on the web.

dont sell guns! LOL....seriously, you need both a 2 and a 9. they compliment each other so well.

I aint ''awesome''

Im usually cranky and oftentimes an a**hole LOL!

But I have fun on here...glad I stumbled in drunk and found this place :D

I say a 9, though I don't own one myself, it will be my next becker along with the 16.

I'm considering becoming a firefighter. Any advice on a good way to start/prepare ....? Sorry if its off topic

Light your house on fire (preferably with family or small puppy inside) and proceed to save them and put out the fire. They would be a fool not to accept you into their ranks.

If you don't have a 2 - you won't get a lot of comparisons.
"Kind of a faster / slicier 2"
"Quicker in the hand than a 2"
"More reach than a 2"
etc
The BK2 is the foundation. Everything grows from 2 soil. If you don't have a 2, you aren't *really* in the club. (ditto 7,9,5,11,...)

I started with the 9, then a 4, and just received a 77 off the bay yesterday. For myself my next will be the 5, or a 2. This is an addiction. I don't know if I could sell a gun to buy a knife, but my first born is up for discussion.

I started with the BK-5 sometime between 1999 and 2001. Honestly I think it might have been 1999, but it's still my favorite.

I have a Patrol Machete, a BK-9, BK-7, and BK-11 too, but I always come back to my baby.
